1. The Alaska Senate finance committee has proposed changes in the Permanent Fund dividend's payment formula that could give Alaskans a PFD of around $1,400.

2. A group of protesters visited the Fairbanks offices of Alaska’s congressional delegation Monday to urge them to push back against the Trump administration's deep cuts in the federal workforce.

3. Fairbanks City Council members talked Monday about Mayor David Pruhs' backup plan for the city-owned land on which the old and decrepit Polaris Hotel now sits.

4. Work will begin this summer on a $13 million project to extend Golden Valley Electric Association’s power line for 30 miles from near Fort Greely to the Army’s Black Rapids Training Area.
